Vindale Research Review

As part of my job here on this website, I have to periodically review websites. This allows me to make recommendations for our visitors on which websites are worth visiting and which ones are a waste of time. I recently had a chance to spend some time on the website of Vindale Research. What follows is my opinion of the website. Keep reading and learn about whether, in my opinion, this site is a deal or a dud.

The Sign Up ProcessSigning up for the website was easy, a little too easy. This raised the first red flag. How are they going to match you to surveys with minimal information, especially the high paying surveys that they advertise on the main page. Once in the website, you can quickly make $2 by completing your profile, about a dozen questions. Within two minutes, I was signed up and had $2 in my account. A pretty good start, but things quickly went downhill.

Earning Money
Upon entering the website, it is clear that they are far more interested in having you sign u for other services and other survey websites than in actually taking surveys. The surveys that they did have were rather low paying for the amount of time involved and were nothing like what was advertised on the main page. Trying a few surveys, I quickly found that I was caught in the loop of “you did not qualify for this survey, but try this one.”

Final Opinion
My opinion of the website is that it is not worth my time or your time. I would avoid it in favor of more productive and honest survey websites. You would be much better off visiting a website like Swagbucks, which is my favorite website to date.

Companies That Want To Pay You For Your Opinion

  • Vindale Research
Review products, take surveys and even keep some of the products that you review. Earn up to $100 per survey. Over 5 million has been paid out.
  • SwagBucks
There are a lot of different ways to earn points with Swagbucks. You can take surveys, watch videos, surf the internet, etc. They have a way to monetize just about everything you do online.  You get paid in points that you exchange for gift cards but the cards are for places you go to every week like Target, Amazon and you can even get Visa cards that you can use anywhere.

Top Five Paid Research Study Tips

Taking surveys is a great way to make a few extra dollars, but there are some things that you need to know. The following tips and tricks will allow you to avoid some common mistakes and avoid a lot of aggravation.

1. Use a throw away email address.
The last thing that you want to do is use the email address that you have had for years. Most survey companies are good about not spamming your email inbox, but it is very possible that you might come across  a rogue website that does not give you the same courtesy. This is why you should use an email address that you acquire specifically for survey taking.

2. Complete your survey in one sitting.
Many survey websites will time out if you pause too long between questions. They want you to concentrate on the survey so that they get the most accurate results. So, if you begin a survey and then get distracted and walk away for a few minutes, you might just find that you have to start all over. This is a horrible waste of time, so complete your surveys in one sitting.

3. Never rush through a survey.
You might think that you can just rush through that 5 minute survey in just a minute, but be careful. If you take a survey too fast, you might find that you are cut off or that you do not get paid. Rushing will produce inaccurate data and many survey companies will not pay you.

4. Update your personal information.
Survey websites look at your demographics to determine which surveys they will offer you. Keep this information up to date and accurate. This will ensure that you get more surveys and surveys that are geared to you. Surveys that are more relevant to you will be easier and more entertaining to take.

5. Choose legitimate websites.
There are a lot of websites out there that just want to con you into paying to sign up or into taking trial offers that will end up costing you money if you forget to cancel. Choose legitimate websites that have been around for years and have a good track record. Here are a few of our favorites.

  • Vindale Research Review products, take surveys and even keep some of the products that you review. Earn up to $100 per survey. Over 5 million has been paid out.
  • SwagBucks There are a lot of different ways to earn points with Swagbucks. You can take surveys, watch videos, surf the internet, etc. They have a way to monetize just about everything you do online.  You get paid in points that you exchange for gift cards but the cards are for places you go to every week like Target, Amazon and you can even get Visa cards that you can use anywhere.

Swagbucks Review

I recently had the opportunity to try out the paid survey website Swagbucks. Swagbucks claims to be the premier loyalty program on the internet and says that they have paid out over 45 million dollars in rewards. I signed up for the website and thus far have spent about an hour exploring the website. From my brief experience I know that there is much more of the website to explore, but here is my preliminary report.

The Sign Up Process
Signing up for the website is easy and it took no more than 5 minutes to sign up for the website and complete their demographic survey. This is how they know which surveys to match you with. They even walk you through the website with a guided tour. I give the sign up process an A+.

Earning Swagbucks
There are various ways to earn Swagbucks. Just for signing up, they give you 28 off the bat. Do a search n their search engine and get another 2o. Participate in their daily poll, get another point. Buy products through their website, get a lot of points. In about 30 minutes of just messing around I had 50 points. You can redeem points for gift cards with as little as 250 points.

Final Opinion
There are a lot of different ways to earn points with Swagbucks. So many, in fact, that there will probably be a bit of a learning curve with this website. Give it a little time though and I am sure it could be a winner. You just need to develop a routine for how you use this website. The only negative I have is that many of the surveys have you take a qualifying survey at the beginning. This makes sure that you are the right person to take the survey. If you are not a match, you have wasted some time and only earn one point. To prevent these mismatches, be sure to fill out your demographics completely and update it often.
